This CD captures the moods of the era perfectly. The performances
retain the muscial credibility of the orginals, yet update them
with modern techniques. If you only buy one CD this year, BUY THIS
ONE!

Greetings from Houston, TX. My name is Lisa. Let me thank you
for such an informative site. I used it to compose cliff notes and
free essays for my class. Your site is indeed a wonderful source
for all my future term papers and research papers.

"Over
the years there has been an elite group of men who understood
Rockabilly music. Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Roy
Orbison, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Knox, Gene Vincent,
Johnny Carroll and my friend of many years Jerry Naylor. You have
to have a keen understanding and a great love for the music to
perform it as it should be performed. I grew up on this stuff
in West Texas and love it dearly.
Jerry Naylor has all the necessary ingredients
in his talented soul to get the music done in the right manner.
"THE ROCKABILLY LEGENDS; a Tribute To My Friends" proves
my point. Jerry was there when the music was being created. He
knew all the Rockabilly greats, performed with them, loves the
music and brings the music into the 21st century with great style,
dignity and a kick-ass delivery.
There are twenty-three tracks on this
wonderful CD that will take you back to the 50's when life was
simpler and the music was alive, raw and rarin' to go.
Jerry, thanks for the memories and thanks
for keeping the flame burning. There's a whole new generation
of young people out there who need to discover this era of great,
great music. You are the one to teach 'em son."

"To
me, a tribute is a Homage - a way to pay respect. Unfortunately,
not every good performer could do justice as it takes nerves and
guts to attack the classics of such giants as Elvis, Johnny Cash,
Buddy Holly, etc. But, Jerry Naylor and the other musicians do
it and preserve the original beauty and feeling of them. This
CD represents the best new Rockabilly recording of the New Millennium
and will be hard to beat for a long time!"

"One
of the best discs I've heard in a long time. Authenticity and
true feelings are in every track -- each one a work of art. A
great chronicle of the music."

"Jerry
brings back the original sound of the 50's with a special 'Naylor
2000' quality. In each track you hear the best of the original
artist and the best of Jerry Naylor -- an award-winning combination."

"Jerry,
you have put the 'feel good fun' back in the music business and
captured the good-time sound of the happy days of the fifties
and the early years of rock 'n roll. Your 'Tribute' CD is a magical
blend of country, rock 'n roll, rhythm and blues and gospel music.
It's Rockabilly at its best."

"Tribute
to My Friends, The Rockabilly Legends ... This is a great, refreshing
bit of work ... and a gift to the ears. It's a blessing for today's
radio or just for simple personal enjoyment! Jerry Naylor treats
every song as if it were a personal friend while paying tribute
to so many Rockabilly greats from the past, and, in many cases,
sounding better than the originals. This is a much needed CD in
today's society. It's friendly and fun to absorb. Pure enjoyment!"
